Joining HRC
HRC Membership categories allow access to the gym equipment, approved boats and the ability to race for HRC:
| Full Membership | All persons not covered by the following categories |
| Student membership | Any student attending full time at any school, college or place of learning up to the age of 18 years |
| Life Membership | Awarded by the Committee to a mermber who has rendered outstanding service to the Club |
| Honorary Membership | Awarded at the discretion of the Committee on an annual basis |
| Restricted Membership | Available for members of other sporting clubs with conditions including limited access placed on their HRC membership. These members do not compete for HRC. |
To join HRC you need to fill in the membership application form, be proposed and seconded by current HRC members, attach your subscription fees and proof of date of birth.
Current membership fees are:
- $200.00 (incl GST) per annum for Students (anyone attending and secondary or tertiary education up to 18 years of age).
- $300.00 (incl GST) per annum for Full Members (all other persons).
Hawthorn Rowing Club welcomes you to our club. We hope you enjoy your time at this prestigious, volunteer based, community sporting club, and home to Australia’s world-renowned Head of the Yarra event. We want all members to fully enjoy the facilities and contribute to the activities of the club.
